How to have more joy in your luscious life (even if it feels like shit)

When you consciously celebrate life, yourself, and your experiences, you are telling the Universe (god / higher consciousness) that you are GRATEFUL. Gratitude is a powerful energetic frequency that focuses on the good, whatever we bring our focus too is what we experience more of: What you focus on expands. Where your attention goes, energy flows.

This concept is commonly practised and understood to be extremely powerful in changing your life. It's the law of attraction and its teacher's range from Deepak Chokra, to Abraham Hicks to Joe Dispenza and many more - including me! Let’s take the example of two people: Nancy is stuck in a negative energetic cycle of seeing the world as dangerous, cruel and unloving - she complains regularly about other people, her life and her future. Jane has cultivated positive energy in her life through presence, meditation and gratitude, she sees the world as beautiful, loving and abundant - she is regularly celebrating her life and the lives of those around her. One morning, on their individual walks to the park Nancy and Jane are both shat on by a bird.Nancy reacts by throwing a tantrum, cursing all birds and declaring that life hates her.Jane laughs out loud and thanks the bird for its unique way of showing her that more luck is coming her way. Random example but you get my poopy point. Most of the time it is not what is happening in our life that determines how we experience it, it is how we choose to react, and what emotion we call forth. This is no easy practice I’ll be the first to admit! It is a powerful process that has to be cultivated through many hours of conscious effort. So don’t feel bad if you’re not jumping up and down with joy next time you get shat on! If you grew up in a household that was predominantly pessimistic, then the neuronal networks in your brain are more likely hard wired to see life from gloom tainted glasses. When you reach the moment when you are ready to start taking control of your reality there are some daily practices you can implement to cultivate more joy in your life: Celebrate / Brag about yourself.

Here’s mine: I celebrate that on the weekend a lover and I reconnected and I experienced deep pleasure under his fingertips. I brag that I know how to attract people that see me as the Queen I am. I celebrate that four new babes signed up for 1:1 coaching with me because they can feel the power of my work. Omg Chloe Adriana is so up herself! If that thought came through while reading those then I understand, we live in a society that normalises self deprecating expression more than self loving. Hearing a friend say “I look so fat in this” is more ‘normal’ than hearing them say “fuck I look hot in this.” And that is exactly the reason why we need to do the work to reverse this toxic norm. I’m sick of hearing about anorexic, bulimic, anxious and depressed childhood rates increasing by the year. We NEED to heal ourselves so that we can heal a very very sick culture.Starting today I want you to choose one + friends who you will share your celebrations / brags with. You can share them weekly or daily! Don’t hold back, brag the small stuff, the big stuff and the juicy stuff! Sharing with friends will keep you accountable and bring them along with you into a higher frequency with you, plus it will deepen your friendship. Watch how the more you brag and celebrate the more there is to brag and celebrate! Express your Gratitude to source Dear Universe, I am so grateful that I am able to make money doing something that aligns deeply with my soul, heart and pussy. I am grateful for Autumn to see the beautiful shades of the leaves changing each day. I am so grateful for the love I receive from people who engage with my work like Vanessa who sent me a book voucher <3 I am grateful for my mother and for all mothers, for birthing us all into being. I am grateful to my landlords for building a house that I am so happy to live in. The other day I wrote five pages of gratitudes in a row, an exercise from my book: Calling in the One. At first I was stumped, how will I write so many gratitudes I thought? But as I started they began to spill out and soon I was at six pages!

Writing daily gratitudes is a profound practice that connects you to the boundless love of this Universe. At the beginning it may be easy, but as you go on you will have to dig deeper for your gratitudes: I am grateful for the anxiety I felt yesterday as it showed me where my needs were not being met. Life will begin to illuminate itself as a seed for gratitude in all experiences. I recommended this as a practice done with yourself in prayer - when I say prayer I don’t mean religious prayer though if that is right for you amazing! By prayer I mean coming into stillness and into connection with a higher consciousness who you will be directing your gratitudes to: God, the Universe, Source, Love. Write a page of gratitudes each morning or evening - choose one and make it a ritual which you begin or end your day with. Watch how everything in your life becomes fertile soil for gratitude. With every day that you wake up in your life, you are getting closer to your death. Sorry, that may seem like a dark turn at the end of a light and loving blog, but what I mean to highlight with this undeniable truth is that life really is short! And that if you found your way to reading all the way till now, then I’m guessing you want to start taking more control over how you experience this one precious life! I promise since I began walking the path of finding gratitude, celebration and brag worthy elements within my life - they have ERUPTED.

Life literally keeps on giving me the fruits that it was waiting to give me all along. And if you want to dive deeper into the very valid reasons why this is hard for you to do, then I would love to talk about potentially diving into some 1:1 life changing coaching together. Just email me XXXX
