Do you do this when you first wake up in the morning?

Do you get onto your phone?

When you get onto your phone first thing in the morning, you are serving others before yourself.

The notifications roll in and suddenly you need to serve by: replying to that important email, fixing that problem with X, joining in on the 46 messages from the group chat.

A Queen knows that the first person she / they need to serve is themselves.

They know it takes strong will to create, and stick to routines that serve their energy, spirit, body, and heart.

Be it yoga class, meditation, drinking tea in silence, journaling, setting an intention for the day, walking in nature within music, dancing, lighting a candle or reading a book, cooking a beautiful breakfast.

The first service for your day should be for you, from you.

Serving yourself allows you to have a platform of grounded integrity and self love from which to reflect upon as the day goes on.

Jumping up and into our phone is following the energy of our martyr, our people pleaser, the shadow of our working woman/being, it is the shadow of our need to belong.

Starting the day from these ungrounded, low vibrational platforms can cause you to begin the day wobbly, and sets you up for over-serving.

When we are in service of others before we have served ourselves we quickly become depleted, burnt out and resentful to those we are giving too - even if they haven't asked us to give.

Tomorrow morning when you wake up, take a breath and decide, from whom within me will I begin this morning?

From my inner work slave?
My inner people pleaser?
Or my inner Queen?

Then put on that energetic crown and begin your morning according to her / their will.

And if you would like to continue deepening your practice in cultivating a live that is entirely based on living from the energy of a Queen, then come and join us at my two day live immersion in Melbourne.

For two days we will be gathering from 9am-6pm to awaken our inner queen and relinquish the self doubting, unworthy habits that have kept us playing small in our lives until now.
