I need your help.
Dear community, I am reaching out today to you for help.
On Friday night, whilst working at sexpo selling pleasure toys to awaken and deepen peoples sex lives,
my Instagram, messenger and Facebook was deactivated.
This was done for ‘violating community standards’.
No warning was given, no email was sent, no evidence was given, I was simply erased.
On the night I went into shock and couldn’t process what had happened.
But slowly over the weekend I have moved from shock, to rage to grief.
On a personal level I felt grief that five years of work poured into Instagram, words, images, friends and followers were gone.
Anger that this had happened to me, that this could impact my livelihood, my mission, my dreams.
On a collective level I felt grief that so many consumers of Instagram have
NO IDEA that the content they are consuming is SO HEAVILY CENSORED,
to the point that the people with the very messages they need to hear may never reach their ears.
I felt collective RAGE, that we who dare to stand up against shame, judgement, exclusion and threat to share our messages about topics like sexuality are being fucking CANCELLED.
In 2022!!!
What the ACTUAL FUCK.
My loves when I did my research this morning I found that pornhub, a platform that was Instagram verified with millions of followers was also recently deleted - when I saw this I didn’t feel too great, if they can’t win how can I?
But, I’m no one to go away quietly, so I have my two team members helping me appeal this tyrannical decision and I'm asking for your help.

As well as Instagram being deleted, my Facebook being gone means I have lost so many peoples contacts,
I have been dealing with the feeling that I don’t exist anymore.
BUT I DO.
I do exist.

Lastly, please take my experience as a lesson just as I am.
If we put our lives, our communication in the hands of meta (Facebook and Instagram) we are essentially allowing them to be our mummy and daddy who police / choose who and what we consume.
My team and I are currently doing research into how I can migrate my quality content onto a new platform that does not discriminate against the thing that literally made us exist - sex.
Lastly, if you have any words to share on how my social media presence has impacted you in the past years I'd love to hear it - its been a tough time and it feels quite isolating so it would mean the world to me.
