Holy Mother of Moly, a youtube video of my mum and I just hit 266K views.
I hadn’t heard of Cut when they approached me to be in a video with my Mum, talking about sex / sexuality / my job.
Immediately I said that there was no way my mum would do it.
She has come a long way in being open about these subjects since I stepped into this work, but going onto a YouTube channel with 11 Million subscribers…that would be too much.
Well dear reader, I had forgotten momentarily that it takes a Queen to raise a Queen.
She said yes!
And now 1000’s of people are watching and commenting on how brilliant my Mum is, how they could never imagine having conversations like this with their own mothers, and tbh they’re ragging on my underarm hair / haircut…WHICH makes me happy because I know this video is provoking their shadows.
I AM STOKED.
Don’t worry, no body hair ridicule can harm me at this point in my empowerment journey, I am genuinely so damn happy with how much MUM energy is being activated in my space.
Yesterday I had a woman signup to Embodying the Queen Within, who before signing up said she needed to spend the day arranging funds and a babysitter - but that she knew she needed to do this immersion for herself first, but for her children second.
Some hours later she had booked the babysitter and the money was in my bank.
THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!
Our self growth is not just about us. It’s about those around us.
Going onto that Cut film set I was literally SHAKING with nerves, I had never been so open, face-face with my Mum.
And then somehow a Youtube channel provided some seriously deep healing for our relationship - we learned so much about each other and came closer as two women who yeah, have sex!
This would not have been possible if I hadn’t stepped into my Queen, and if my Mum hadn’t stepped into hers.
